New Year, New Vision…

Dr. Kubilay Akman

As EuroArt staff, we are happy to greet European art scene with our 1st issue. EuroArt has the aim of being the critical art media of Europe with the support and contribution of artists, curators, art historians, art writers, critics, art dealers, gallery directors, etc. EuroArt is ready for this purpose in the New Year as provide you a new vision/perspective.

We live in a “network age” more than anything, so as a couple of intellectuals from Turkey we appreciated the value of networking in Europe and even beyond, invited some colleagues abroad to create this publication together. Many colleagues from different countries accepted our invitation and we started to this project. The borders of our structure are not completed yet and we are curious to meet new friends/contributors.

EuroArt’s main principles are these ones:

-to be a democratic platform for artists without any discrimination

-to support especially young artists in their career

-to be open different styles of modern and contemporary arts

-to accept aesthetic values more important than commercial interests

These main principles will guide us through our voyage in arts. Enjoy your read. Hope to meet you in the 2nd issue.
