I was invited for a two month stint in Singapore to help my colleagues from the Bucharest Institute of Fine Arts; they were based in Germany and were commissioned to develop the Maritime Showcase Museum. After a month they ask me to sign a 2,5 year contract. I was quite surprised as I came with a small suitcase and a few things and with my wife and daughter in Yugoslavia. I called my wife back home and she said “Do not come back! War is everywhere and the army came looking for you last night!” The next day I signed the contract and my family came a couple of months later. It has been 16 years since and the country I left does not exist any more." more...

I then began to study novelists and philosophers such as Marcel Proust and Gaston Bachelard who have contrived similar theories through sound, space and other senses. " more...
